Conversion kit. I just got some xentic xenon hiss 5k off ebay 32$ 2 year warranty. I have high and low. I would either go 5k or 4500. other wise there not that bright to much color.

I wouldn't do high beams, I also did the ebay kits for headlights and fogs. each bulb has it's own balast so each kit comes with two ballast and two bulbs. I have 6K's in headlights and 3K's in fogs, the company i bought from only charges $10 for diffrent bulbs so i have four 8K's that i tried and another set of 6K's that i had in my fogs before i got the 3K's.

i have 6000k bulbs in the lows and there is just a tiny hint of blue and are plenty bright. i also had them in the highs but highway driving you cant flash the drivers who insist on not turning the brights off untill they are right on top of you.

I have both the highs and lows with 15000 in both. They are a very blue color. I do a lot of driving on gravel roads so i can run my highs for extended periods of time. Its a waste otherwise because they take a bit to warm up and get fully lit.

To give you an idea of what color you get out of them check the PPE link out.

Down at the bottom of the page it shows what the different temperatures turn out to be

I'd go 6k and stick to just the lows, also when you install them you will have to plug into the factory harness upside down as the polarity differs in OBS trucks, you may want to look into disabling your automatic on feature as it will also shorten the life of the bulbs and ballasts

do any of you all have the "all on" mod done with HIDs in the lows and some type of regular bulbs in the highs? I can't stand the delay switching from low to high in my wife's truck with HIDs in both.

I want HIDs in my lows but I want the highs to be regular bulbs and not look much different than the lows though. Any suggestion? Xenon something-or-others look close to HIDs AN LAST?

I have the HIDs in both with the mod done. no delay when switching back and forth. the power right up, no flickering either.
