HID Ballast Location

[03 D-max]

Where is everyone mounting there ballasts? I bought myself some HID's for christmas but dont see a real great place to mount the ballasts. Any help or pictures are apreciated.

Here's where I put mine......

On a Chevy I have seen them mounted in the grille. On the perimeter close to the head lights with zip ties but I imagine you could use self tappers in there somewhere.

No prob. Depending on the type of ballast, you may have a plastic tab on it that you can put self tappers through like Justin said. Mine didn't, so I zip tied them to the stack.... seems to work ok.

pull the headlight completely out and under it you shall see the perfect location

currently i have one taped to the battery and one sitting inside the fender:redneck:

I couldnt find a spot big enough under the headlight
