There has always been a rule to keep pictures on this board at a PG-13 level.

It's fine. Hey, off topic... On your speed record, was that covered by diesel power or any other magazines? I wouldn't mind looking that up and having a good read.
The engine build was in Diesel Power, but the B'ville racing wasn't covered by any mag I know of.
One of the mags wanted me to pull my truck out impound for photos, and I refused. It's against the rules to pull out of impound. That didn't go over well.
Not sure I understand this, they can impound a truck for photos? Can't opt out of impound? Why couldn't they wait till after you were done racing for photos?
OK, at Bonneville, when you do a run that exceeds the record, you must immediately take your vehicle into the Impound Area. It must stay in the Impound until the next morning.
The first thing in the morning, you must run again, then they average your speeds at each segment. That becomes the record.
The fastest speed you run is not always what your record is.
In 2008, I was clocked at 174.xxx, but the record ended up at 163.
In 2009, I was clocked at 197, but the record was 175.

Oh I see.Well the pic dick should have waited till you broke the record and then take all the pics you want.Wouldn't it be a more desirable pic opportunity after you broke the record? Otherwise I guess he could have been taking pics for no reason especially if you were thrown out of the running for claiming your truck back.People don't make sence sometimes.
