FAIR? Last time I checked whoever gets to the end of the track first wins.

I wonder what it cost for that 1000 hp mitsu engine? Prob cheep huh? I wonder how many RPM you have to turn to make 1700hp N/A with a 2.3 liter Engine? I'd say......... 40k should do it.

Well if ti makes you feel better they have this one that may fit the average budget better. Hell it's prob cheaper than a all out Duramax.
http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/products/engines/Chevy-565.htm It's only 955 hp though.
Here's the thing, If it's all about the HP/per CI thing then the dodge boys have us by a mile right?
different strokes for different folks. I like em both, no arguing there. But blatantly shunning one way is pretty childish (my daddy can beat up your daddy). Making 1001 AWHP is respectable however you do it in my opinion. I just find a 2.3 liter making 1000+ hp pretty crazy. :D I doubt those racing engines can be street driven realistically, but thats not what they are for.

Or if you prefer a PUMP GAS Engine http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/products/engines/762-92octance.htm

Please, why are you bringing a wussie little 811ci motor into this? If you want to talk displacement bring a real motor.
