It's sick for sure. People and there comments about theres no replacement for displacement. Thats why a 2.3 liter AMS evo has OVER 1000 AWHP and runs 8's .......displacement plays a huge roll in that

People just hate giving up old sayings. "Pictures never lie", "no replacement for displacement" etc.

Who would have thought that you could have a 427ci small block that puts out 505hp? 8 years ago you would have been called a fool for saying something like that. The new motor going in the 'ZR1' is just crazy. I want one for my Camaro. :beavisnbutthead:

Look at the lates Autoweek. How about an 8.2 aluminum small block that uses LS7 heads and components?

FAIR? Last time I checked whoever gets to the end of the track first wins.

I wonder what it cost for that 1000 hp mitsu engine? Prob cheep huh? I wonder how many RPM you have to turn to make 1700hp N/A with a 2.3 liter Engine? I'd say......... 40k should do it.

Well if ti makes you feel better they have this one that may fit the average budget better. Hell it's prob cheaper than a all out Duramax.
http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/products/engines/Chevy-565.htm It's only 955 hp though.
Here's the thing, If it's all about the HP/per CI thing then the dodge boys have us by a mile right?
