Hey guys,

Somewhat new to the site, but not to the Duramax. Had my truck since 2011 and been a member on DuramaxForum.

A bit about me, I'm married with a soon-to-be 3 year old daughter. I'm an army medic (been in since Jan 2010). I'm finishing up my first tour to Afghanistan (picked up my SGT on 01 APR this year). Looking to be back home within the next few days. Love to hunt and fish when I'm not tinkering on the truck.

Now about the truck. Most of the info is in my sig (what I can remember off hand). Truck dyno'd 612/988 last month at Danville with Mark's tuning. Truck was with the boys at Danville pretty much the whole time I've been over here. They had to fix the mistakes the last shop did on my truck. Can't thank them enough for what they did. Plan on building the motor and making a mean DD. Not quite sure on the end goal yet, but this site has helped me with some of the planning.

Looking forward to learning more and hopefully meeting some of y'all at some events. If any of you are around the Fayettenam area, hit me up. I would love to meet fellow Duramax owners around the area. If you have any questions about me, the truck, or anything, feel free to pm me.

Dmax, I'll get some pics up once I get back to the states. The internet over here isn't good enough to upload them. Plus I'll be able to get some better pics than what I have. I'll be back stateside in a couple days. Really looking forward to driving it. It had an S475 triple bat before. Went with this one for better street manners and the ability to twin/triple off it better.

Thank you poltergeist. Danville is amazing. Kept me informed the whole way through. They made it extremely easy to be half a world away and have my truck in pieces. Always updated me when they found something wrong (cracked injector body, leaking water pump, etc.). And they fixed all the stuff the last shop had messed up or cut corners on. BTW, just heard a rumor that the previous shop was opening up again. PM me for details on them and who to stay away from. Also, thank you to LSD for sending out new injectors as quick as they did. Really another great business.

Thank you for your service and welcome back home! I live in NC also, Rudy's Diesel puts on a really good event twice a year in the Greensboro area. Its a good place to meet allot of members here and put some faces to names. I believe the spring event is in May.

Yeah, I was in the states last yea during the events, but had issues with the truck (from previous shop) that kept me from attending. I did make it to Rockingham last year though, sans truck. Not impressed with the drag strip or the "pull strip" they had. And track prep was shit.

Also, anyone up in Indiana? I'm from Greenfield and will be back in town pretty much all of December. I'd like to possibly meet up and talk shop.
