I was driving my truck today everything seemed fine then out of no where it would not build boost. Give it pedal and boost just read zero. I thought maybe the t vanes were stuck but I was getting a reading on my gauges for the vanes and I could hear the vanes varying. I ready manifold pressure and it was normal at 14 psi. I checked my intercooler boots and they were fine. I shut down the truck and re started it and it was back to normal. It's never done this before. Any ideas? Could be the edge juice module maybe? I do occasionally get the p0299 code on start up but it's never done those before and I'm pretty sure that's related to the EGR delete.

No one had any info on this? Btw it threw no codes. Only thing I did that day out of the ordinary was make 3 quarter mile passes. Btw it ran 14.7 seconds. Not bad

I have an 06 dually that did the same thing. I too had an edge tuner. Mine would act like it had an electrical short and motor would have a big hesitation, then it would not rev up and it would act like it was in limp mode. I would kill it , restart it and it would be fine, then it did it to me about a month ago, but this time it would not restart. I noticed the screen on the edge went blank. I was at a stop light , I figured it was the edge so I unplugged the edge and plugged it in stock. I started right away. It has not done it again. I guess I got my moneys worth I had that edge in there for 8 yrs.

I had a vane position sensor go bad and put the truck into limp mode. It had a code for it IIRC though.
