Dad sold the Triumph for a New 1970 Ford Country Squire station wagon with the FAKE wood panels. IT DID have a 351 Cleavland in it!!!!

1970 Dodge Challenger "Charlie Challenger" was its name and mom gave it to my older sis for her first car. It wasnt this nice, thats the first I remember.

I had a good time reading this and thinking, My Mothers first car was a 67 mustang my dad bought after they were married a few years, My Dad had a 65 Ford half ton he bought brand new. He told the story of how they got married ona Sat night in the Preachers living room, and my dad had 30 dollars in his pocket, the preacher got payed 5 bucks for marrying them and he had a pickup payment of 51 dollars due monday morning. some thing never change but the pickup payment sure do, ha ha

haha Challengers are sweet! My mom had two of them way back before I was born, a 70 RT and a 71 RT/SE. She would tell me stories on how they would do j turns all the time and have to swap in new trannies
She also had a 70 superbee. Man I wished she never got rid of them.
very first car i remember well was mom's 73' Z28 that grandpa gave her when my uncle went on his mission.

I wish I had pictures, but the first car I remember of my dads was a 63 Impala SS. The next was a 67 Impala SS 396 Ragtop. He traded that car a year and a half before I could drive. He missed it so bad, that he let me buy a 69 Chevelle SS 396 for my first car when I was 15. He got to drive it quite awhile before I got my license!
