LB7: help

I have a 03 duramax that has power loss under towing I have a 22 foot trailer that I can only ger 55 mph going up hill w my truck.i have new injectors. New egr cooler new banks big head waste gate new glow plugs new turbo .so I have like 5 g in it and have ben told my balance rates are great so any ideas ? Thanks

I realize you're frustrated, but there's no need to post multiple threads about the same thing.

Are there any codes coming up? What are they? Are you noticing any other symptoms?

No there are no codes but from what I have haerd the motor should be able to tow just fine and capable of doing like 80 mph while towing in fact my 09 gas 1500 was able to tpw that trailer at 65 to 75 going up that grade so it should be nothing for a diesel

Have you taken it anywhere to get diagnosed? Or have you just been replacing parts? You are correct that your LB7 should still out-tow the gasser, easily. Depending on your trailer 80mph still may be pushing it though. Lots of variables. I'd be curious on what your rail pressure and commanded fuel looks like. Do you have access to a quality scan tool that can monitor data? These will be your friend with these trucks.

Do you have access to any kind of scanner that will log data? Did the loss of power show up after all the repairs or been going on for a while?
