just recently bought 03 silverado 2500hd with lb7. truck has new injectors done about 2 years ago. drove great and engine purrs like a kitten for a week then one morning i got into it and the check engine came on, codes diplayed were p0202; injector circuit open cylinder 2, p0203;injector circuit open cylinder 3, p0205;injector circuit open cylinder 5, p0208;injector circuit open cylinder 8 and last but not least p2149; fuel injector group b supply voltage circuit open. truck starts up no problem but has very minimal power due to only half of the engine blocks fuel supply working properly. seems to me a small but impactful problem, chevorlet is trying to charge me an arm and leg. PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!

Wiring harness near FICM chafing on bracketry (probably) or ficm failed (possibly).

thats the same thing a diesel tech told me. i checked all wiring and i couldn't see any copper. also i separated the wiring and made sure it was completely off that bracket and truck still had same problem. although i did that i did not reset the computer. if i unhooked the battery and hooked it back up would the trucks computer reset allowing it to run properly?

Yes, disconnecting the batteries will clear any codes. If you've looked at the wiring and don't see any problems, I'd get out a multimeter and verify the injectors are all the right resistance and you have power where you should in the FICM harness. If that looks good, your FICM is probably bad.

I can get you the pinout for the FICM connectors later today if you need them.

ok thanks for your time, last question. if the problem was the harness chafing and i made sure the harness was 100% off the metal bracket, will the computer keep the truck running like crap until its reset?

Yes, once it determines there is a circuit issue, it disabled those injectors to protect itself until reset.
