i did injectors on my truck a few weeks ago and everything was fine until today i go to start it and it just cranks and cranks the fuel gauge also stays on E but it will not start and i have a full tank of fuel if i cycle the key the fuel gaauge will go to full randomly and some times start i need what could it be?

I deleted it so its coming straight from the air dog I replace the injectors 2 weeks ago and truck has ran fine since until today. Also the fuel gauge is reading empty won't even move when I turn the key and it is full

Is the lift pump getting power to it

Would a bad sending unit causing the gauge to read empty cause this??

I think you either have a ground/power problem causing both problems or you're fighting 2 separate issues

bump cant find anything sometimes fuel gauge will read full and start other times it will say empty and will just crank

Might be a bad ignition switch or a bad/loose relay in the fuse box.

Plan on hooking the truck up to my efi live anything particular I should look for my only problem is that it's random no start

ok so this issue went away for a few months and now its back the fuel gauge reads empty and alls it will do is crank does anyone happen to have the schematic for the fuel gauge or maybe its a bad ground? im not sure what to check anymore

that's the weird thing I didn't do anything to it last time bc it was intermittent so I could let it sit with the key on engine off or cycle the key and the fuel gauge would start to work and the truck would start and run

I haven't found anything that seemed loose or broken yet does anyone have a ground schematic?
