I just had the head gasket and one of the heads replaced on my truck by someone on this site. I learned my lesson big time on that - don't go cheap. Rant over. So the truck turns over and I have primed the crap out of it and it will not start. When it did start up this morning it ran great until I turned it off 12 hrs later. Now it will not start. I have no codes showing on the truck. I am stuck in Virginia Beach and I just want to go home to Phoenix.

If you have a leak on your injector return lines it will not start needs at least 80 psi of back pressure on injectors before they will open on a lml...... what I'm getting at is if you developed a leak while driving on return side would lose pressure when you shut it off

2 days ago it would start with 30 pumps on the primer. 1 day ago I bought a new primer assembly from GM and installed it. Pumped the air out and built pressure up and started right up. This morning it took awhile to start - 3 tries. Tonight, nothing even when I pump it 50 times and bleed out fuel and air.

Gonna need to find a way to watch desired rail pressure and actual rail pressure while cranking.... if your still running cp4 pump it could have just took a dump...... should have swapped that when was down for gaskets...just sayin

Doesn't matter, that pump is fragile, ANY trash get in that system between filter and pump, it could take it out.... those pumps will fail with no warning especially the 2011-2013 lml's

So far, the shop (Industrial Diesel of Norfolk, VA) says that the CP4 is good and that the issue is between the fuel tank and the primer pump. They ran a rubber hose into a 5 gallon bucket of fuel and the truck ran fine. Kinked line or debris in the system. Told to call back tomorrow and talk to the tech.
