Then you have an squeaky alternator, a broken accessory bracket, or a severe alignment issue.

Get a laser pulley alignment tool check pulley alignments with said tool. Adjust accordingly. Gator backs are nice but look out unless they changed them the gator back may stop a squeak but will cost you in the long run they produce a ton of emi and can wipe a tcm in a heart beat if the field is strong enough just something to think about:rolleyes:

Truck only has 60k on it, I’m the only owner, and I have never had the alternator or power steering pump off. Guess I’ll have to get a laser alignment too and see what’s up.

**** those gatorback belts, I messed with alignment, tension, you name it. the gatorback walks off the tensioner one rib at a time and shreds itself

So to the guys running a 14 pump, what size line are you running to it from the lift pump? I have a 10mm pump running a dash 8 to it and it seemed to be a pretty tight fit in there with that.

I've got basically the same build with just a single 68 for now. No squeaking, but the belt self-shreds down to a 4-rib belt within a few hundred miles. The alignment issue on mine is due to an improperly machined keyway on the crank causing the key to bottom out before the balancer is all the way seated -- about the width of one full belt groove.

Not saying that's your problem, but if it's eating the belt up, it's an alignment issue, not a belt brand issue.

Also, seems silly, but are you sure there belt is routed properly? There's at least 2 ways, I can attest, that the belt can be routed, one of which WILL cause squealing on the A/C pulley. Post a pic of the belt on the dual fueler/AC side.
