I have a 2006 duramax that's is throwing dtcs p0561 p0751 p0843 p0877 and p0700 do you think it would be the nsbu switch even though it is an internal one or what do you think it could be or what is common tranny fluid is at the correct level it just sometimes only has what I believe to be fourth gear and went into full limp mode once I would appreciate any advice you may have for me thank you very much

I believe p0843 n p0877 are pressure dropping out codes. Have you checked you trans fluid while hot? Make sure it's in the XXXHOTXXX area. Inspect the trans harness? Sorry not very knowledgeable on the Allison. Hopefully someone else chims in for YA.

Welcome to this site. How many miles on the trans, filters, and fluid in it? The OEM trans fluid that came in your truck did not like very cold temperatures. I would change the spin on filter if it has a lot of miles on it. Hope this helps.

Probably 40000 miles on the filter and fluid and 180000 on truck trans everything and recommendations on fluid and filter and any other filters anyone would recommend also a guy told me the Prndl switch could be the problem is the Pendleton switch the maud switch and the ims all the same thing or ... Also I cannot find a switch under any of these names for a six speed plenty of options for earlier models that is the external switch but nothing for the 2006

Yours is called a IMS switch not nsbu and it is located in the pan. Here is the part number. 29542692

Yes the nsbu is the PRND switch.

40K is a lot of miles on a spin on filter. Do you run a tune on the truck? Have you checked the harness connector for a leak? How hard has the truck been driven?

Ok I went to the dealer today to kind of get an opinion from them he said it was not the ims one code is debris in the switch in the pump but that code was only a one time thing and the others that were transmission related would be fixed by a transmission flush I plan on doing this myself any tips pointers or suggestions and do you think a trans go jr kit is something a DIY guy can do

Take your time and read the instructions for the transgo. It's not too bad. Make sure you assemble it the right way or you'll really be freaking out when it doesn't drive.
