Help-Towing with a lowered truck

Looking for some advice/ideas for setting up my truck to tow. I will soon be buying a toyhauler (approx. 30 ft.) and as you know it won't be real light. It will most likely be a bumper pull and not a goose or fiver.

Now the problem...

The rear of the truck was lowered by pullling the overload spring plus one full leaf out of the pack. That left me with 3 full leaves, a stance that I love, and an amazing ride. However, it will need some help in the towing department and I don't want to add leaves back in if I can keep from it.

I have looked into airbags but have not come across a setup that will work with a lowered truck (compressed approx. 3" and extended approx. 12" if I install them in the normal position ***pulling the leaves left me with a ton of articulation compared to stock***)
I don't have a problem with taking something and doing some fab to make it work. I have also thrown around the idea of thick rubber bumpstops in combination with air bump stops to try to keep it from bottoming out at every dip in the road. Still, with that idea it would still be sitting on the bumps when hooked to the trailer.

Air bags seem to be the answer but I can't find any short enough to fit in the correct location and still long enough to get the extension I need when articulated (the truck still goes off road).

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

well if u need more ideas, air lifter does make a side mount 5000 lb airbag. they bolt to frame and push down on the leafs rather then in between axel and frame.

I sold the truck actually but liked the setup so much that I may do the same on the new LBZ. So...this thread is still applicable. :thumb:
