Yup swapped out ficm, ecm (with stock tune), fpr, and maf. Inspected all wiring around injectors, inspected wiring at ficm, ice picked 1,2, & 7 injectors, checked injector return rates.

When you shut it off does it clack and bang? My money is on a broken DMF if it's still there. I've only seen one Duramax do that, I diagnosed it as a flywheel but the customer didn't want to fix it so I never confirmed. I did successfully fix a couple 5.9 and 6.7 dodges that ran weird and shook like that though. Flywheel was fubared. Replaced with a Southbend single disc and all was well.

No it doesn't bang or clack when shutting down. maybe I'm overthinking this but what would cause a bad DMF cause this issue only when at operating temps?
Operating temp idle is different than a cold idle. That may be the difference you feel
Well looks like I'm going to diagnose this as the flywheel unless something changes or anyone else has any ideas.
