LLY: help rebuilt 06 LLy

Hi dont know if i'm in the right place but I need some advice please. I have A 06
GMC C 5500 rollback with the 6.6 LLY turbo diesel just got it at auction and the crank broke after a week but still would run. I had the block line bored and rebuilt it with all stock GM parts and now cranks but no start scanner says crank sensor malfunction but it ran before the rebuild and also wont hold fuel pressure but no sign of leak.

Who did the rebuild? Any chance you got the crank & reluctor wheel from a 05 LLY rather than a 06 LLY/LBZ?

sounds to me like its got the wrong wheel on it.

no that the same one but the new crankshaft came with A new crank timing gear may be I should of used the old one.

I dont knowI got the crank from the chevrolet dealership It came with just the timing gear.

it would be pretty difficult now but try counting the teeth on them

Its not the crank that's wrong, its the wheel mounted to it.

but the plate is the one that the engine came with unless I put it in wrong or backwards

Is it not idiot proof or can it be bolted on backwards
