LBZ: Help! Poured about a cup of Power steering fluid into transmission.

I was not paying attention and poured about a cup 4-6 ounces of power steering fluid into my transmission.

I haven't started the engine.

I am draining and refilling.

Do I need a new spin on?

Help!!!

Grabbed the wrong bottle, dark out and couldn't see the label, never learned to read, hot girl walked by, up all night with no sleep, one too many beers, slipped on a wet leaf, etc.... :hug:

Power steering fluid is basically atf minus the seal and friction modifiers. That tiny amount probably wouldn't have effected it in anyway.

Well, drained and refilled, and it's all good so far. Yeah. Two bottles, same color. I noticed when the pour started that it was clear. Stopped, cursed, fired up Tapatalk and duramaxdiesels came to the rescue. Thanks!!!
