Lift pump on truck? If not - check fuel lines for collapsing after fuel filter. Hot fuel, heavy load, they can pinch closed.

I've seen some cp3s get weak, but it seemed to be a gradual thing. It would limp under very heavy load the first time and gradually over time would limp with less throttle and load. Not that it matters much but were you towing in 6th gear? IF so you could probably lock it in 5th for the time being until you get this figured out.

Shim your fprv on the driver side rail, could be opening at too low of pressure and draining the rail.

I say shim it just to rule it out. its very cheap to shim, a new relief valve is expensive. I guess you should probably bottle test it first though

Landon....At least you are consistent about your feelings on this subject:hug:

:roflmao:
HaHa!! I know, just one of the things that bugs me. Definitely do a bottle test if you think the fprv is suspect, that's all I'm saying:hug:

0087 is comon on tuned trucks with no liftpump but not so much on a stock powered truck. The next step would probably be to find someone with EFI live or a tech 2 and log your rail preasure and compare desired to actual.
