This is my first post on this forum however I have gotten a lot of good info before with some previous issue's ive had. I have a 2003 2500HD LB7 4x4 ccsb. Yesterday I was taking off down the road not putting my foot in it but just a little to get to speed. At about 40-45 mph there was a buck as if it slammed into gear, i thought i heard a hissing sound but it lasted only a second if that. Then the abs/break/and check engine lights all came on and the speedo started fluctuating randomly. Ive had this truck over a year w/ approx 294,XXX miles. I replaced the entire Right wheel hub assembly and wheel speed sensor about 9 months ago, u-joints about 6 mths ago, rebuilt transfer case about 6 mths ago, NSBU and PSM replaced roughly 4 mths ago, and replaced the Left wheel speed sensor today. It will throw the abs/brake lights randomly, it goes into limp mode, shut the truck down and restart or cycle the key a few times and it seems to fix it for a few mins then hops into limp again. I have the hypertech max energy programmer, mild exhaust mods, 33's w/ the hypertech tuned in for the tires. Occasionally ill have a loud clunk that sounds like its coming from the rear-end when going from park to D or any other gears really. but its intermittent, i checked the rear end earlier and added a little gear oil. Normally runs perfectly besides needing the injectors changed(starts white smoking while idling) but pulls like it should, no other issues. Really is a good truck, just trying to keep it on the road. My thoughts are that it may be the rear output speed sensor?
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

What's are the codes it's throwing? There are codes if the abs/brake light are coming on. Probably a c0055 if your speedo is acting stupid. Let us know codes we can better help

Codes? Could be a speed sensor. Make sure the wires are twisted if you replace

Driver side speed sensor replaced today and passenger side speed sensor and wheel hub assembly replaced less than a year ago. I have an OBDII but idk if it'll read that specific, I read it earlier but i dont remember if it said which one specifically

Stop throwing money at it. Monitor the speed sensors. Too many people replace everything under the hood and then decide to go look for a bad wire.

thanks, ill do that. Everything ive replaced except for the speed sensors were for the regular reasons, spewing trans fluid from a cracked transfer case housing, shift range inhibited which was fixed by changing the NSBU and then not going into gear which was fixed by replacing the PSM. All and all i havent put a whole lot into it for the price i got it for and the amount of miles on it. But ill check the wires friday and most likely change the output speed sensor since im fairly certain the one that's on there is the original so ill let yall know if this solves the issues. Thanks for the input y'all

That's the reason for the tech 2. Watch the sensors and see which is bad.

Changed the output speed sensor yesterday. All issues resolved, I guess the clunk I heard when putting it into drive from park was the linkage throwing it into 3rd? Speedo's working, all warning lights off, back to how it was. Thank y'all for your help.

Was there any damage to the tip of the old sensor?
