Help please!!!

I have a 2007 duramax with 227,000 miles and it won't go over 2000 rpms I change the fuel filters but its just a temporary fix, got someone to scan and it came back as excessive EGR flow, any ideas for what I can try?

Egr stuck open, sounds like. Install block plate and see if it helps

Egr valve may be stuck open. Common to get a lot of carbon deposited in there
