I am hoping for some much needed direction. I've got an 04 2500HD w.77,000 miles that is completely stock. All the maintenance is up to date and the truck operated flawlessly until 2 days ago. The MIL came on and the truck began running horribly. (Limp in mode) Generated a P0205, P2149 and had a P0742 pending code. Truck also would not engage in reverse after limping home. I performed the "ice pick" trick on cylinder 5, the truck started/idled great, reverse worked and MIL turned off on it's own. Cleared out the pending code and went for a drive. The truck is now VERY slow to shift between each gear and acts as if it shifts to neutral at each upshift and then softly engages the next gear. It has a fresh trans filter and fluid. Has anybody experienced this? Any re-learn procedure after Limp mode? Thanks so much for any advice.
