Hey guys next summer I will be needing to get new tires for my BMF 20x9 rims. Currently I am running 285/60/20 duratracs and was thinking of going to a more all terrain tire leaning towards the Cooper at3 tires. In a 295/60/20. I do more highway driving and towing a camper I really don't need the aggressive duratracs and hopefully get a little better fuel mileage out of a all terrian not being as aggressive. Worth a shot.

Truck has a Cognito 4-6 inch lift and I'm going to drop the front down as far as it will let me for the new tires. I like the rake more then leveled look. I was wondering if anybody had any pictures or any other ideas. Do you think the truck will look good with those tires or not? I did search but could find what I was looking for. Thank you in advance

Kris

Have you looked at the nitto dura grapplers? I just put on a set a little while back and so far thay are awesome. Quite, excellent grip wet and dry, easy to balance, long tread life.

Thay have some 275/65/20 in either the 123R or 126R that will be almost identical to the size you have now

I have, but idk if it was the rims I had before or not but I used to have the terra grapplers and I hated them. They felt like they floated on the road when it was raining or snowing. My wife hated them more then I did and wouldn't even drive the truck because of them. They were 305/55/20 on rockstars that had to be 10 or maybe even 12 inches wide. That could have been the problem do u have any pictures so I could see what they look like. Thanks for the idea.

I've ran the AT3s.
They are good all around tire. Good/great in snow/ice/mud got a slight howl to them being kinda open block design. But not full blown MT howl. Not going to over power normal talking with Windows up.
Pulled 55k out of a set on my hotshot before I went 19.5s

Definitely buy another set of AT3s
315/70/17 on my 75

The Duras are quite a bit different from the Taras. Thay are highway tires vs AT. Stiffer sidewalls and better lug pattern and compound from what I can tell. Great for towing because of the stability of the tread pattern

Thanks, How do you think they look on a 4-6 inch lifted truck. That's as close to 4 as I can get it to go

I like the Cooper at3 but I've only had it in a 285/75r16. I think I might try the Falken at3w next on my 20's.

Here is mine with 285/75r17. About a 34" tire. Your size is closer to a 35". I have a 4-6 cognito lift and it is set at 4" or where the cv axles are level and 2" blocks in the rear

Well after many searches. Many hours of looking around, and asking opinions of different guys at the different campgrounds we go to. I finally came to a decision on new set of tires. I wasn't going to go this aggressive but after seeing them in person on another truck I knew they were the ones I wanted. I just so happened got a very good deal on them the other day and jumped at the chance to get them.

Starting after winter my new set will be
305/55/20
Mickey Thompson ATZ P3

Heard great reviews and can't wait to see how they do. If they last as long as my duratracs I will be happy. Pictures defiantly don't do them justice. Don't mind my little girl she just wanted to roll them around lol
