Some crowers will tho

Ok last we talked you were only going with pistons and stock LBZ rods :spit:

So your looking at spending 3340.00 area on just the 5533 after buying heads, injectors, and a cam then selling it off and now having to rework the MDI headers to work with the S366. I think your looking at going to big on the setup for whats on the table right now start small and grow into it.

i personally think that a 55 is a bad choice to twin with. that little charger is always going to be the choking point in the setup. my 4718 that i had under that turbo was more then over working it. it spooled very well with the right tuning but egts were hot. the t3 foot doesnt like to flow all that well. i would say that the 4718 is the biggest i would go and with a s480 it would probably be happier. thats my old turbo and i ran 3 different big chargers and probably the best one was the 4708( 80mm).

Part of that EGT problem on your truck Josh IMOP was the turbine on the 4718 doesn't flow a ton of air ( 50.5 lb/min to be exact ) , but agree If i were building for Pure HP I would choose a bigger top charger , but I still believe it would be a decent 1k hp street setup but DP is never going to be "ideal" . 5533's turbine side flows 10-20 lbs more than the 4718's depending on the A/R, at close to similar compressor performance .

You could buy the T4 setup and GT42 that you told me you were going to buy but now won't return my PM's. That's where I would start.

I sent you a PM on DP today at 12:27 and it said you were online 3 hours after. I'm sorry if I jumped the gun and got the wrong idea. I just dropped a PM to you checking in. Thanks.

Sounds good, you can understand my assumption when I get on here and see this thread started today though I'd think. Thanks.

Davids lost on what needs to be built lol. I just trashed the list of parts I had priced out to order for him. When the the gf pops out the other twins your world will flip upside down. Your best bet would be get the motor built and running with a stock turbo or the S366. Trust me I know I have 1 kid 2 will real suck down on the money tree. Most of the combos you have posted about are not close to being a DD for the family. Once built you will not get to run it the way you want they break faster even when built and DD with these setups.

For the area of build you have been trying to build you need to bring in a gross of 70k plus a year and that still makes it hard to get repairs done after roasting some parts over the weekend.

You mean 70k in extra play money a year;) Unless you live at home and have no other bills or hobbies:)
