LBZ: help on a twin setup

well my truck is coming back together and a buddy and i are gonna be building a twin setup for my truck. i have a htt 66/73/16 and want to pair it with something big but i want to know what the limit is of the htt are.

didn't that dodge in dpc have a hard time lighting that monster 8000 with the little turbo he ran over it ?

yeah thats what i want to know how big i can go with the big charger before the little one runs out of steam and cant light the big one

I talked to sean ? think that was his name, he said it performed pretty well if it lit but i guess that wasn't always easy ? must have made big power when it did since he broke everything in the drivetrain lol

I personally think it would light easy enough , comparing a dodge to a Duramax when lighting turbo's is pointless , as far as gains and disadvantages that's for you to decide and whether you have 3g's to spend on the 1 turbo .

it was the only setup i've seen with that big of a split between the two chargers, a dmax and a dodge will spool completely differently but wasn't sure how much the sizing of the turbos had to do with it

Hope it didnt come off as a dig :hug: I have played with a few dodge's now and put a PBK on 1 , when it lit , HTFO :rofl: but it was alot lazier than a dmax with the same turbo's for sure .


And to the OP hit me up I can get pretty decent price on Garretts.
