Mark, have you done testing with a s475 over a stocker in terms of spool up or do you think your bmw 3794 or new VGT will spool faster just not have as much top end pull?

Yes I have and so has customers and the like the single vgt better than the twins for multiple reasons. Simplicity and driveability are the two main reasons. 475/stock is limited to a realistic 650hp which I made the same power with the BMW GT3794Va but I had about 150* more egt's. My new turbo definitely spools faster than both. When I do the Coker test you will be able to see that info as well. If your towing all the time than the twins are nice for sure and would be my recommendation but you have to watch your oil temps at that point. To each his own I guess.

Johnathon, couldn't agree with your comment more buddy!

im assuming you mean that on stock injectors :D

looking at the spool testing on Russ thread, that b66/4096 spooled damn fast. is that the same as the 3794? or different cause i couldnt find a post on the 3794 specifically

I'm also going to vote for the biggest Danville VGT you can get. If I were starting over, I would strongly consider just running that instead of big twins.

You can always add a second large turbo later if you feel like making 1,200hp, but I think the bigger aftermarket VGTs are absolutely where it's at for anything short of an all out max power build.

Yes sir, stock injector comparison there. You are capable of alittle hp with big injectors but so is the other turbos in question. Yes it is similiar but not the same turbo in question.

I have beating on the one on my truck for about a month now and so far so good but have more testing to do before I completely let the cat out of the bag. I am seeing 48-50psi boost on my truck with it and 65-75drive max and 1250degrees on the street max. On the dyno I saw 1450-1550degrees on that tune but didn't see the 48-50psi either so I think the extra boost helps out on the street keeping the temps down. 99% of the time it doesn't make it past 1100* egt's. It's a lot of fun to drive, I honestly giggle everytime it cuts loose cause it's so violent in it's response.:happy2:

Anybody know why they stopped making the controller?

Brayden, told me to my face that they weren't worth the headache for him and didn't work the way he wanted them to so he canned the project. I think there is a lot of demand for it so if a guy could get it right then it would be great. I get soo many calls about this.

not long ago before you stepped up the VGT game and when brayden came out with the controller, it wasnt worth the effort and cost to put a controller on and do a VGT turbo.

now that there is alot more options and way BETTER options, the demand more than likely has gone up but, its still a product only designed for a truck made for 4 years and now over 10 years old. if they do re-release it, i bet it wont be cheap

Are you hitting those boost and egt numbers with stock fuel?
