I'm tired of this hacked up plastic ATS intake im running now so i would like to

make my own. From looking at intakes on other large singles i think all i need is

two 4'', 45* bend pieces...? I am mainly just needing to know what pre-bent pieces

to order.

look in my garage but i made mine out of 4 inch exhuast pipe from napa. I think i have a 90 off the turbo and then two 45's but can't really remember. After i welded it up i got it powder coated black. Doesn't look bad at all really

I wouldn't find that true, look at the CAI and full exhaust that are sold, they are mode from one mock up and sold to the masses.

that is the case with replacing stock parts that are the same on every single truck. but it would be hard for someone to mock up an intake for me because i have an aftermarket turbo, and it sits lower than most who are running an s400 because my pedestal is a little shorter

If you are going into a box it will take one 90 and one 45. If you are going to go into a open filter then it will take one 90 and two 45 degree.

I have an S&B intake. I put a silicon 5 1/2" to 5" 90 on the turbo, then a 5" alluminum 45, then a 5" silicon 90 from the alluminum to the S&B intake. I cut a little notch in the silicon 90 so it would tighten up on the S&B which is about 4 1/2". I had to trim a few inches off each end of the alluminum 45 to get the length right and install then just twist it until if rolls down enough to shut the hood. It took a little trial and error. I would assemble, mark with a sharpie then pull the alluminum 90 out and trim a little more.
