Ya know, updates are like this in my opinion: if it aint broke, dont fix it. Ive had more trouble with updating software than just using old still working software. This includes most companys, but most of all is Microsoft. Thank you microsoft automatic updates for crashing my computer and forcing me to lose a bunch of my saved calibrations for efi! Lol!

Gotta link to the updates is the cummins 5.9 stuff out now also is that going to work on the v7 or v8 software

See links in my Post # 16 above.

The Cummins release is not out yet, We just released the Scan Tool support to the beta testers during the weekend. Implementation of the scanning capability was quite a bit more involved than we projected. Hopefully it won;t be long now :)

You're going to be using both V7 and V8 for Cummins. The read and flash capability is in V8 only. There was no way that was going to be implemented in V7 (would have been near impossible). Scanning is in V7, as the Scan Tool functionality of V8 is not released.

Cheers,

The licenses are retained and managed within the FlashScan interface itself. So a vehicle licensed to FlashScan can be read/flashed in wither the V7 or V8 software.

We don't have phone support line sorry. If you purchased your EFILive product from a reseller (not from EFILive direct) then you could contact them. Otherwise I'm happy to answer any questions if you want to email me ([email protected]).
