Sorry for being such a newbe:confused: But Can I just screw the sender into the hole on top of the filter (bleeder screw port) and have gauge work, with everything stock? Do I need a lift pump?

you need an adapter, remove your bleeder screw and notice that the sender is an 1/8 npt thread totally different. you will get restriction once the fuel hits the filter/CP3 and all the twist and turns the fuel takes shouldnt be a problem.

Yes the threads are m10 on the filter and 1/8 on the sender, I ordered a adaptor. So it will read with out a lift pump?

It can only be said in so many ways buddy. You have a positive reading pressure gauge. It will not measure vacuum. If you want to see the current 0-30psi gauge read get a lift pump.
