bag the body lift, put stock suspension back on. you can keep the 35's. check for boost leaks(y bridge it seems like) and throw efi live on it.

I doesn't need anything other than de-lifted, back to 35's, and efi live. As you sit minus the trans you are good to 500+ rwhp, no need to throw parts on it when all you need is efi live and a good tune.

First and foremost it needs to be gone over mechanically man, there has to be a boost leak somewhere in there if it is smoking like that and feeling doggie. A superchips isn't gonna huf and puff like that even on its highest setting.

Ok I'm takin it for an oil change pay day and to the chev dealer and getting computer reset

What's the best way to check
for the leak

And I can't get rid of the lift as it came with it all ready done and the wife loves it jacked up
It's my first diesel I plan on buying a 05 dmax right soon just missing the box and fixing it up over winter and use that as my work truck instead and the lifted one as some thing just to drive

You never stop learning about these trucks, and nobody is an expert on every aspect of them (although some people are damn close).

For a stock trans truck I would not waste money on a down pipe with a stock trans... A hot side pipe I could maybe see that is up to you.

I would go with a dsp 5 so you can switch tunes on the fly and not really need to by a V2 of your own.

Who is no limit? Is he a vendor here? Sorry for my ignorance I use the same 2 guys for everything on here. The price aren't bad but I have seen cheaper. You get what you pay for when it comes to tuning. Is that price wit a V2? When I got my V2 it was $850 and it came with a tune. And I purchased my race tune 250 rwhp tune from the owner of this site and had a dsp built off of that.

One thing I did lookin back is like an idiot I handed out that tune to a competitor to build the dsp 5 off of. I was lucky Pat was understanding and realized I was just an idiot and didn't think about it before handing it out. What I am sayng tuners work hard on there tunes (well the good ones any way) respect that and keep it to your self.

why not use a vendor here who pays for this site? They can email any tune to you and adjust or modify as needed. The best in the world are here... Not in your town.

As for the BD trans once again there are MUCH better options out there. For one that Mike L. guy you are giving funny feelings to is the original Allison guru. He was and s one of the very few innovators in the performance allisons from the beginning...

IMO the lbz has a pretty decent down pipe from the factory. I have never had egt issues even with big tunes in an LBZ. If you are going all out then yeah do a down pipe other than that it wont add much to a lightly modified diesel truck
