Would you rebuild a LB7 with 255000 miles ,needs injectors and I've owned it since new and it has been serviced and well maintained,,, or would swap it out for a LBZ..

the next question is I 'm looking at a 2006 chevy 2 wheel drive LBZ WITH 100,000 miles for sale it has been serviced regularly ,never towed anything and has some cosmetic issues ,body bed damage and interior..just wondering what it might be worth.. Would there be an issue going from 2 x 4 to 4 x 4 when swapping engines?

Thanks , seems like a great forum from all the post I read...

Lb7 swap

Just went through the same thing with mine. After pricing the rebuild vs the swap I chose to swap. I went with the lly and am pleased with the results. No more worrying about lb7 injectors. Had to do some tuning to get fuel economy back though.

If you are talking about your 02, swapping to that LBZ would be problematic...different electrical architectures.
