Who is a vendor I can buy the heavy duty tierod ends from?
We have the heim set up right now but they have worn out. The problem is when he gets this truck off in BFE he can't find the heims but everybody has stock tie rods ends which he could atleast swap till he got it back to me. I have already got prices on new knuckles since they were drilled out.
I am just wondering which system is really the best. This truck is used off road in mud and high water daily sometimes and the heims are open versus the booted tie rod ends. Anybody got some suggestions?

The stockers have seen over 1K HP on the tracks and pulling with the sleeves (which move to the next set once the joints are worn out) and are much cheaper and commonly available. I have never had problems with mine off roading (which probably isn't as extreme as him), but it has seen its share of ugly in its day. I've never been light on the HP as well as most know and I'm on my 3rd set in 120K (just replaced because the boots were junk). Just my opinion and experiences.

Good job! There are other styles out there too.

Pack the boot with grease after installation and you are good to go. I use to use a needle adapter on the grease gun to get under the lip of the boot to fill it. Packing it before hand can get messy.
