Xtreme 2500 / 3500 Chevy Lifted Truck Axles
[RC001HD] $495.00

K1500HD.gif

The RCV Performance total solution to all your lift induced axle problems. Inboard joint provides up to 40° of joint articulation to allow for maximum lift and wheel travel. The stock inboard joint often is the limiting factor only allowing 15-20° max before causing anything from vibration to complete axle failure. Joint spacers are often included which allow the axle to be bolted back up but do nothing to address the real problem with lifting truck axle geometry. From full droop to full compression RCV’s slip splined center shaft provides ~ 2.750” of length change. Axles come completely assembled with high angle boots and xtreme duty grease. 30 day 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed.
*$495.00 PER SIDE.

those may solve CV angle issues, but what about BJ and TRE angles. Or even the terrible ride quality when a truck is over cranked. people should save the $1000 they would spend on those and just buy a bigger lift if they want to be taller.

I think I might try them. I dont like having the front of the truck down in the weeds for daily driving. Like to be able to still lower the truck for racing and sled pulling and be able to play on the street with the keys turned up.:thumb:

As not to start a new thread, has anyone ever used these axles? I know this company also makes a spherical design CV that's supposed to be pretty strong too.

Anyone have any info on these?

ive talked with Nocal Nick about these a few times. they are STRONG and i and Nick have yet to hear of a failure. I think what most guys dont understand is even with a cranked truck, its still gunna launch like crap and instead of breakin a CV, your gunna break something more expensive. A cranked truck will torque hop like a brians mom on a friday night (love ya buddy ) compared to a de-cranked truck. its all due to the leverage points and angles a cranked truck has compared to a de-cranked.

I could see high HP pullers needing them but i dont know of any drag racers needing them and unless your trying to increase wheel travel, they dont improve much on a properly setup truck, lifted or not. if your lifted/cranked and are breakin CV axles you have other issues that need to be address besides the CVs.

The reason I am looking at them is for that lowered dually I posted the pictures of a few days ago. He has drop spindles in it, so the steering angles are really good, but the CV angles are pretty steep. He is getting a pretty bad vibration coming from them, and we were looking at these as a possible fix. Otherwise we may have to lift it back up a little bit.

the whole thing is bigger, the outer CV, inner CV, star joint, and it slip yoke is on the shaft, not in the CV. ITs pricy but the money backs up whats put into them

I'd rather do a solid front axle for that money.
