heated seat light bulb

Anyone know where i can find the stupid little bulb that goes in the back of the heated seat switch? Im lookin for the one that illuminates the switch its self when you turn the interior lights on. Ill try and get a pic of what i mean but it twists into the back of the switch and has a blue cap on the light its self.

I really dont wanna have to buy a whole new switch but i cant find where to get the bulb anywhere! Please help, i hate when i got bulbs out

yeah no kiddin. last time i asked they siad i gotta buy the whole switch (freakin retarded) but that was two years ago ( yeah ive put it off for two years and its finally pissed me off too much lol)

lol well I don't have any resources at my disposal here, I guess next best thing is try to get the p/n off the bulb and see if NAPA or Auto Zone stock it.

yeah thats what ill be doin. I cant get one from NAPA. they say they dont carry it. Was hoping someone on here had replaced theirs before and could point me where to get one

anyone know how to change the bulbs in the steering wheel controls?

try a kenworth or peterbuilt store. they have the same bulbs for their warning lamps. about a buck the last one i purchased.

Send a PM to Henry (ripmf666) and see if he can get you a P/N.

I could be wrong but that blue cap should come off the bulb so you should just be able to replace it with a white bulb and put the blue cap on the new one. At least this is how the bulbs were designed for our products (instrument cluster).

Anyone ever find a p/n for this bulb?
I need to change the one(s) for my passenger heated seat switch backlight as well.
Again, not the one that lights up when you turn the heated seats on but the one that lights up when your park/headlights/dash lights etc come on.

Nope. could not find it anywhere. dealer was no help either. i wound up ordering a used switch off ebay that had a good light in it then not long after i converted all my interior lights over to red LEDs so i have no more bulbs to worry about.
