One year I had a jetski race out in indio, near coachella. It was 117 and 95%... the worst ever the water was 98* and I had to wear my wetsuit. The worst part about the whole thing is the lake was reclaimed water! The hot subtle shit smell. F-that!

I know its reclaimed water but I had a visual of you doing the slalom race around a bunch of Baby Ruth's.:roflmao: I play golf on a lot of public golf courses and they use reclaimed water. Nothing like the smell of poop at 6:00 am on the golf course. Better than your heated turd water.

Humidity sucks worse than a dry heat. We were in Oklahoma last month. Highs in the mid 90’s but only 50-60% humidity and when you stepped outside it just hit you like a ton of bricks.

Greenville is just south of where I live.. Yeah it can get really rough in the MS delta. The high humidity is crazy

It was actually cooler in AZ than it was in SoCal this past weekend. My shop didn't have functioning AC until yesterday morning. It was something simple but oh well, My computers are nice and happy now that its an icicle in my office again..

Its like Florida caught a greyhound to SoCal for the weekend..:rofl:

It's no better here in Florida. We may not have triple digit temps but we get mid to high 90s. Tack on 99% humidity and it's basically like working in a sauna. You'd think the torrential rain we get every day would cool it down but it doesn't. Just makes it even more steamy.

Same here.

The heat I can handle. The humidity is what kills me.

Mid to high 90’s is the highest we see most of the time but when he humidity is 80-90% it kicks your butt.

One year it filled the i-10 with about 4ft of flood water, most cars were submerged. Monsoon here has no meaning because it can and will do whatever it wants

Right before it rained here yesterday there was a dust storm, I couldn't even see 20ft ahead of me

That much rain puts Vegas under water lol. Really creates havoc with flooding especially if it’s raining in the mountains on the west side of town. All that water goes thru town on its way to lake mead.

See, its not just rain that comes with a monsoon....

First a rolling dust cloud will come in that all these queer meteorologists in our state started calling a haboob (its a god damn dust storm). With that comes winds that range from 40-100mph gusts for about 20 min. As the winds start to end, you get a torrential down pour for the next 15-30 min that will dump 3" of water across the state in that time. Which then causes flash flooding in washes, flooded streets, and many other issues.

Being you are a ford boy now, im sure this will be nothing to what you have to compare :roflmao::roflmao:

My wife and I stopped by to check on a buddy's chickens while they were out of town. Couldn't resist buying a rotisserie chicken from HEB and taking a picture. Sent it to him and told him the chicken pen must have gotten pretty hot. We all thought it was hilarious but his wife was not a fan. Lol

i wouldnt mind that 3-4 inch in a week lets the water soak in and greens shit up. im just glad the fire restrictions and camping restrictions are about to be lifted

I love when it rains in the desert. The smell and the green! Not to mention keeps the dust down! You also can watch the monsoons pass and get a good show, maybe even a cool shower. The best.
