Do I really need them? Haha! I'm pulling my turbo to fix an oil leak. After taking those damn things off, I'm curious if I really need to put them back on. I'd rather not...

Just get a blanket. That's what I will be doing as my heat shield rattles and drives me nuts.

not sure I'll even do that. I may wrap the pipes before I put them back on, though.

do you guys put the heat shield back in that goes underneath the turbo where the oil line is?

I wrapped the up pipes. Left the heat shield off the top of turbo when I replaced it. Didn't pull the one under the turbo

X2 I noticed my heat shield was cracked when I installed my downpipe so I just got a blanket from Levi. Great product:thumb:
