Allison 5sp: Headlight options

Tried to search but no luck for my specific questions. Looking for some input for new light housings for my 02 lb7. By the time I got it back the originals were beyond saving. I bought ebay cheapies for now but cant get them to aim and the beam projection sucks. They also just fit like crap both top and bottom.

Anybody have any recommendations for 01-02 guys?

Factory is the only ones worth a shit. I went through a few set of chinese and none fit well. I kept my factories to sand and clear down the road (just started turning yellow) but I like the black inner housing the Chinese ones have

Find a factory set and retrofit them.

So I ended up buying a set of TYC "O.E.M. replacement" lights from oreillys. They actually fit like a dream and aimed perfect. Much better lighting.

If you do somthing similar with retro projectors with HID you will have a nice light output, can also do the 4hi mod for lows and highs using high beam

Another +1 on HID retrofit. That's actually my next project for my truck.
