headlight options

any of you guys have put in any upgraded headlight bulbs in 2017? I ask because I want led bulbs but see that the bulbs are behind covers in the headlight so I'm not sure what fits? thanks for any help

I have a ltz and it has low beam projectors but regular h11 bulbs

Just get LEDs from DDM, I got the sabers for my 1500 and they are great lights.

I use to buy all DDM HIDs. You think thier LED bulbs are just as good as thier HIDs?

That's what's in my 1500, there are incredible lights.


Wade, the gmc's got hids in 16, Chevy is still rocking halogen. Just get the saber pros, the output is great and they fire instantly.

I did the morimoto xb LEDs for fogs on my 16. They look great, they are blacked out when not lit so they look much better than stock.

Any idea how the fitment is? In the past I've used led's and ended up doing a little carving for whatever they had for heat dispersement. I have yet to have a "plug and play" aftermarket bulb

On my 1500 they were 100% plug and play.

I would run morimoto. Absolutely great customer service and wonderful product. Turns to day when my headlights come on, but i have their hid bulbs.

40w sabers will be here on the 13th, ill post up some pics after i install them.
