I just got my tracking number for my Victor Reinz 1.05 Thick (Grade C) with "Wavestopper":roflmao: They are pricey though.

I just got my tracking number for my Victor Reinz 1.05 Thick (Grade C) with "Wavestopper":roflmao: They are pricey though.

Dealer wanted 47 for the left and 114 for the right. I told him that cant be right and asked if he could look into it and call me back. He did and said it was priced wrong, told me 47 for both sides. He asked me my last name for the order ticket and ended up knowing my family so he knocked them down to 36 bucks I was pumped!

FWIW I have always used the Mahle Clevite gaskets and have no complaints. Not sure who really makes them but they have proven themselves in my opinion.

I know this isn't always gospel but, I have a hard time thinking Mahle would sell inferior products. Doesn't mean it doesn't/won't happen...just a thought.

With that said, I might have purchased them from an OEM source had I not been a dealer for Mahle in the past. I know they were less expensive but nothing to speak of.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the A and B new style gaskets? Had C's in but since it's torn down and going to measure piston to valve clearance. I'd like to bump compression up if I've got the room.
