I have found a good deal on a set of profab 2" headers/up pipes. I tried searching and couldnt really find much. Just going to see what improvements/changes these made when added to your truck, such as exhaust note, egt...i'd like to hear what you have to say.

Thanks a lot.

Whats done to Your truck? You should Fill out sig so We kno. If Your truck isnt highly modified theres a handfull of things I would do before headers.
I agree the more free flowing could hurt your low end but make good gains on the high end.Id giv e Rick a call or shoot him a pm.

Idk if there worth the money. Mixed opinions i think.

Brian (hondarider) had them on his gmc with 366/480 compound kit and said he didn't think they were worth it. I believe his were ppe tho.

too many changes at the same time to know if any gains were present, i would assume back pressure had to drop especially at high rpm on my truck.

Factory exhaust is pretty restrictive compared to headers/up pipes, especially up pipes. Don't know how much performance improvement with a stock engine but there would be some. Backpressure anywhere doesn't help a turbo engine. Headers/up pipes should give lower egt's but I haven't compared it before and after. The gains on may not be that much at present but it sure won't hurt anything. If it's a good deal get them, especially since you're planning to do more things in the future.
