i watched that the other day, i work on a lot of sled. I always get dings in the snowmobiles pipes and always worry about power loss. lol not no more even though it is a 2 stroke and they utilize the pipes alot more then a 4 stroke but still.

when i did a down pipe and a lml manifold on my lb7, i didnt really notice a difference on power or egts. Maybe a little bit but there are way to many variables. sound was about the only thing i noticed that changed quite a bit

My experience is all the little things add up. I noticed a big difference when i added manifolds up pipes y bridge and boost tubes at the same time. And then later when i did the sportsman cp3 I noticed a big difference in responsiveness . These were all things that on paper looked like marginal differences and cost quite a bit but I'm glad I did all of them.

That was pretty wild. I would have expected at least some appreciable power loss.

Those Roadkill guys crack me up LOL

That engine was waaaaay over carbed and under cammed. I bet on an all out engine you'd see 10-15hp

I still like watching their show, they try some odd stuff.

Texas!!!
There was a previous episode where they tested a couple of different carb and manifold setups. There's also another one where they compare carb and efi.

More than likely its because it was a 2-1, not just being bigger or less restrictive setup. 2-1 almost always brings tq in sooner, almost nobody runs a true dual setup anymore.
