think I'm finally going to make it to the track tonight.

I hear Tom is going and i want him to tell me what it feels like to get beat by a van:spit::rofl::hug: (just kidding)

do i nead the burnout box with 2wd and mich ltx at/2's?

gonna wash the van inside and out, and underneath.
do my chop job mod on the grill.

laptop, efi, tire pressure gauge, tow truck phone number, anything else i need?

they say i dont need to worry about a helmet cause i'm in a van. i guess vans are special.

thanks for all the help/pointer so far!
I've wasted, i mean spent a lot of time lurking and reading in here and picked up alot.

Im gonna have the camera ready. I wont run when you're up there, James. I can walk you thru it if need be.

I just wish we had a set of slicks/drag tires to borrow. Those Michelins will probably spin off the line. We'll figure it out.

See you around 8pm at Martin.

Does the van have an open diff or a G80

I'd start at 40 psi on the rear tires and work down from there

James, I bring my tools, so we can take the seat out when you get there. So your wife can come along....

make sure to bring a pair of long pants. Most of the time they dont let guys race in shorts.

To what Kat said, we'll air the tires down to at least 40psi for your first run. Id like to see your first run be off idle with no boost so we see what we've got to play with. Then we'll go from there.

I have a feeling Michael may be there, and we can get advice from him.

track is about an hour away -

load the race tune before i go and get the tranny used to it?

Yep. Also, make sure to turn the A/C off a good 1/2hr out. Track officials kind of frown on people dripping water on the track.

Are you bringing a helmet? You'll need it for under 13.99, which you should best no problem.

I gotta go out and get the truck prepped. Seeya. May check in later.
