Going to put the tranny back in after Brayden installed new billit shafts for me. Thanks Brayden and Chase. Also going to try a 1055 convertor and see if that helps. I hope to have it running and test for TS on wed. Off to work I go! Jeff

Just broke one. I guess I need more power. 11.30 on fuel at 122 mph is it. Easy 60' of 1.82 on that pass. Tryed to leave at 20 lbs on the next pass and it broke building boost. Thats why I want to try the 1055. Its builds boost ok but it gets to a point and it just takes off and it's hard to leave like that. Jeff

Had it on the road at noon. The 1055 seems about like the 5 star. It doesn't seem much different.

Everything seems to be fine. It drives pretty good. The 1055 seems just as tight as me 5 star but when the boost comes up it doesn't seem to want to go to the moon! The 1055 seems to hold the power back a little better. I guess we will see next saturday at TS. If anyone else is the(TS) stop by and say hi. Jeff

I thought the 1055 is designed to not multiply torque the way the other converters do... as in less torque=less broken shit

My lordy I need to work on my eyes. Thanks Beech. Sorry about that. I will keep tabs on this thread as 3 transmissions are getting built in the next month or so and all 3 are getting shafts. Just want to make the right choice so we can do it once
he did say he thinks though. i cant remeber if brayden is making billet shafts or not. you would have to call and ask him. do you need his number :joker:

Brayden didn't make them. They were in a white boxand a brown tube. I don't care to share what I run at all. I really do not know what they were. If I trust someone I don't care who or what makes something. If they say that's what I need then that's what I need. If I can help just ask. Jeff
