Haha it's all good Corbin. Took me a long while to figure it out a year or so ago

I think I was reading in one of Jons threads recently about quench and it was like rocket surgery explained in Chinese to me.

Did they not take the valves up .015 also? If not, find a new machine shop. If they did as they should have, you can run C's without worry.

Better shim valve springs too

Called machine shop and talked to guy who did the work..

Valves didn't get recessed or intake side didn't get surfaced.

Sending them back to get that done.

Just an update on this. Sent heads back and had valve job done so the valves are where they need to be now. Also had them machine the Intake side of the head.. Another $700 and 3 days later and I'm bolting them on the truck today.

When I called checking about what had been done I talked to the machinest and he told me we told him we use a thicker gasket Is why he went with the .015...

We will be going back to using our old machine shop that does a better job. Only reason we used this one is we can usually get 1 turn around and they are in town. Other takes 3-5 to send them and get them back.
