Question: Head and main stud install

I have a set of A1 H11 head studs and arp main studs. Does anyone know what the torque spec is on installing the studs themselves into the block? Do they need loctite?

I cant say for sure on H-11 studs but the arp's are just finger tight.

I would put a light coating of oil on the threads and bottom tap all the holes.

What's the thread pitch?

I oil them, thread them all the way in, and crack them back 1/4 turn. It helps the stud center and not side load when the nut is torqued.

Main studs should be 14 x 1.5mm

I use arp lube on them, run them down tight with a small ratchet, back them up a turn or so then hand tight. like to use the ratchet to make good and sure it's bottomed and not just a burr or debris making me think it is if using only my hand.
