Well I can't give all my secrets but the gentleman on this site that I purchased some key parts from was able to leave at about 32 psi also. The converter helps also.

Don't you piggy back the copilot harness into the main transmission harness at the back of the trans?

For the record. I left it "unpiggy backed" once and got these same conditions. Throttle delay etc...
