So i was loading up the puller for the first pull tomorrow. everything has been perfectly fine. i changed the tuning in the tcm to one i have used in the past and i hooked up a copilot. all was good however while loading when the truck got warm all of the sudden the throttle was not responsive at all. in 4 lo in forward gears you can peg the throttle and there is about a 7 sec delay before the truck starts to throttle. in high range its much better but still a second delay. so i went backward and removed the tune only to have the same problem. i then disconnected the copilot thinking it was the problem and its still going on. any ideas????? could it be a relearn issue??? also now periodically it will give a range shift inhibited message in reverse. however no codes and if u shift out or reverse and back it will go again. I dont understand what is going on. all was fine till the tune and copilot.

Could you have bent or pushed a pin?

In the harness?? I don't see how. I just cut and soldered the map wire and the yellow tcm wire. I did not pull it all apart. It is very strange. It was fine till it warmed up. Like I said peg the throttle in four low and nothing for 7-10 seconds.

I always forget to plug the MAF back in when i take the intake off and it will do that. No range shift prob though.

I have not touched the maf. Gonna c what it does in the morn. This is one of those strange things. Only thing I did by the maf was let the air knife accidentally slam shut.

Don't you piggy back the copilot harness into the main transmission harness at the back of the trans?

yes but like i said i disconnected everything back. or are you thinking i should check the pins back there??? would they cause a throttle issue like this???

They could cause a shift range inhibited which could cause a defuel

ok well besides nothing this is what i found. All the pins look fine. i checked the pins on everything including the tcm. the hesitation in four low is better when the truck is cold. only about 2 seconds. what do you think about that??? do you think maybe since my intercooler is unhooked cause of my water box that the intake air is way to hot and it is causing a frenzy????

well today was a huge waste of money. truck fell on its face three times. it started to build boost and come alive. left the line at 30 lbs and then it just keeps shutting down. and the tranny keeps giving me the range shift inhibited message in reverse. it took 5 attempts to back to the sled and its throwing a output speed sensor code, fuel temp code and the antilock brake light an brake light are on. I dont know whats going on.

The abs and speed sensor codes sound very much like the output bearing/bushing and or slip yoke at the tail of the transfer case are worn.... Or something else in the transfer case. It could be completely in related to you other problems...just in addition to.

Yeah I have my suspicions on the transfer case. It's the only item that has not been rebuilt on the truck minus the pump rub kit. What does everyone suggest when rebuilding. And who is a good source to get all the parts. Will a tease issue cause throttle response issues????

Well I think I figured out most of the issues. So I picked up a new t case to swap out and upon closer inspection of the one in my truck I noticed the tcase wires looked stretched. I found that the output sensor wires were broke from what looks like being pulled by the front drive shaft. Some how the clamp on the front shaft boot grabbed them and twisted. So in conclusion I dropped a bunch of cash for a five dollar fix. Lol. Always my luck

You can leave the line at 30-35psi? Teach me your ways  I'm lucky to leave at 12psi @ 1200-1300 degrees when I leave
