LB7: HAS THE SH!+ HIT THE FAN???? help

OK so first post on this fourm..... long long story short. I have oil coming from my ccv on my 01 lb7. When I put my finger in the vent tube I feel a little bit of pressure, I see white smoke on initial start up, hard to start when hot ( like low power ) balance rates OK with 2 @3.? Runs strong and fast. Did a compression test on engine cold yesterday and they got to about 350 then dropped to zero. I then re did my compression test with warm engine and they struggled to get to 200psi. Did the sh!t hit the fan? Is it time for a rebuild. (Current rebuild has around 50k and injectors supposidly have around 3k)

Do a leak by test, what do the balance rates look like? Is there fuel in your oil? Report back

That's actually the answer I really want to hear. I'll post balance rates shortly. As far as leak down test goes. I will have to wait to make a trip back to horrible freight. Just got back from there to return pos compression gauge. Trying new set up now and will post back. Thanks for the replies

OK so I did compression test with new gauge set on a warm engine. 300-310 across all cylinders. Not sure what to do now :confused::hug:mad::eek::(

dont worry about the compression so much, all are with in 10 percent of each other and the engine should run on that. Lets here balance rates, return rates, and when you can the leak down test.

It does sound like you need injectors, but you have to diagnose it before you worry about things.

dont worry about the compression so much, all are with in 10 percent of each other and the engine should run on that
doesn't gm spec say a min of 300psi. That's what worries me
