Had to change this?? It goes from the pass side caliper back to the brake booster. Noticed it while I was tooling around under there!! While pressing the brakes I can't turn it w/ the wheel off, but I don't believe it's getting enough fluid to stop the weight of the truck.

After making a few calls, it doesn't look like this is a replacement part. Looks like I may have to make/get one made!!

The ? is, does anyone know what sizes are those fittings or has anyone made one before and can give me some pointers!!!

should be jsut a normal steel brake line with a flared end. the rubber hose is the end that has the tricky fittings for it.

Thanks for the replies. My dumbass didn't even think to ask my uncle (who rebuilds wrecks). He has one to give me!!:thumb:

I couldn't see how or why you couldn't get that line from a dealer. Problem would be it would probably have the same kinks if that one is OEM. I wonder if it is stock as taking a quick peek at mine both sides, look nothing like that.

I'd go to the dealer

Alright. I got the brake line from my uncle. I cut it and am gonna splice to the one on my truck. Will be A hell of a lot easier than trying to fish that whole line in w/ out having to remove a bunch of crap.

THE ? is. What fittings should I use to splice. I have a brass union w/ compression fitting, would this stand up to the pressure and would the 2 different metals be compatible?

Really hate to use this and it comes aprt and drains all the fluid, then I have zero brakes

dont use compression fittings . you can get a union and double flare everything so you wont have issues with pressure .
brake lines are always double flared

you can get everything at napa or autozone pretty cheap . only problem is you need a double flaring tool , but you may be able to rent one at napa or iirc autozone has a tool loaning deal

IIRC you will be using a 1/4" union and flared threded ends. I don't know if the line is metric but when I had to splice my lines on my wrecked truck I used 1/4" and it is holding just fine.
