Anyone see or hear of LBZ-LMM water pumps coming apart like the LLY's are at high RPM/HP? Not just leaks but impeller or shaft issues? Thanks for any input.

Casper has been running dual hi-perf waterpumps combined with the factory LBZ pump, a full sized radiator, and a 90 gallon reservoir tank.

So what's the easy fix for a poor boy who just got threw building his engine and can't afford or atleast cant let the wifey find out anymore spending on the d-max
I know the solutions have been welded and keyed with a rolled pin. If I had a race truck is do an electric.

Yes it is, its molded on a metal sleeve thats pressed on the shaft.I was told the impeller was plastic

Maybe roll the dice..
Or install an electric pump..

Some have a little luck in welding or pining them and for some those never held up.
The same kinda issue as with the LLY, the impeller just spun off the shaft? and they were stockers and a few of them.... damn.
