Anyone see or hear of LBZ-LMM water pumps coming apart like the LLY's are at high RPM/HP? Not just leaks but impeller or shaft issues? Thanks for any input.
So what's the easy fix for a poor boy who just got threw building his engine and can't afford or atleast cant let the wifey find out anymore spending on the d-max

I thought the impeller and shaft were different material? Heard that somewhere.

Yes it is, its molded on a metal sleeve thats pressed on the shaft.I was told the impeller was plastic

Maybe roll the dice..
Or install an electric pump..

Some have a little luck in welding or pining them and for some those never held up.
I have seen a few impellers come off on stock lmm pumps. Like Tony said electric will fix that.
